The School of Science & Technology at Ls'court Academy is at the core of our technical research. Our students are trained to write computer programs, analyze biological systems, carry out chemical quality testing, and process complex mathematical data matrices.

Detailed Course Outlines
1. Computer Science
Focused on software design and network architecture. ND students study programming logic (Python, C++), database designs (SQL), systems analysis, and basic web building. HND candidates advance into mobile app coding, compiler construction, artificial intelligence models, computer security, and cloud network deployment.
Career paths: Software engineer, database administrator, cybersecurity analyst, system administrator.
2. Science Laboratory Technology (SLT)
Fostering excellence in biological and chemical research. The ND curriculum covers chemistry techniques, cell biology foundations, microbiology analysis, and physics laboratory calculations. HND candidates specialize in biochemistry, micro-biology, or chemical instrumentation.
Career paths: Laboratory analyst in food and pharmaceutical companies, research scientist, quality control manager.
3. Statistics
Harnessing the power of data. This ND program trains students in data collection methodology, statistical inference, probability distributions, demography analysis, and computerized statistical packages (e.g. SPSS, R, Microsoft Excel).
Career paths: Data analyst, research statistician, polling administrator, business planning manager.
State-of-the-Art Laboratories
Practicals form the bedrock of Ls'court Academy's scientific training. Our labs are fully stocked and checked quarterly:
- Computer Coding Labs: Featuring 120 high-speed computers linked with fast optical fiber connections and localized development servers.
- Chemistry SLT Lab: Containing modern analytical balances, spectrophotometers, heating mantles, and premium ventilation hoods.
- Biology & Microbiology Lab: Equipped with advanced compound microscopes, autoclaves, incubators, and biological safety cabinets.
- Physics & Electronics Lab: Outfitted with calibration tables, optical testing benches, and signal generators.
